Hudson Williams develops film script featuring ex-hockey player

Actor Hudson Williams has revealed he is currently writing a screenplay centered on a character who is a former hockey player. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Williams noted that his team is debating whether to change the sport to avoid comparisons to his role as Shane Hollander, the captain of the Ottawa Centaurs in the series ‘Heated Rivalry’.

While considering alternative sports, Williams stated that the character currently makes the most sense within the context of hockey. He described the creative process as an effort to “bust through the prison of your own mind.”

In addition to this writing project, Williams is involved in several other productions. Production for the second season of ‘Heated Rivalry’ began in Canada in August, with a projected premiere in spring 2027. His other ongoing projects include the suspense series ‘Yaga’, the dark comedy thriller ‘Apparatus’, and the culinary suspense story ‘Tyrant’.
