Hudson Williams discusses ‘Heated Rivalry’ and short film career
Canadian actor Hudson Williams recently discussed his career and the challenges of returning to his breakout role, Shane Hollander, in the second season of the hockey romance series ‘Heated Rivalry’. Speaking at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Williams noted that the cultural impact and fan reactions to the first season made it difficult for him and co-star Connor Storrie to inhabit their characters authentically. He credited showrunner Jacob Tierney for helping the actors navigate these pressures.
In addition to his television work, Williams has a significant portfolio of short films available on YouTube. His work spans various genres, including comedy, crime, and thriller. Williams has also taken on directorial roles, having written and directed several shorts such as ‘Soakers’, ‘Buttons – The Lover Archetype Explored Through a Pussycat Dolls Odyssey’, and the crime thriller ‘Snow Angel’.
