Hue Central Hospital hosts Mid-Autumn Festival event for pediatric heart patients

The “Trung thu cho em” (Mid-Autumn Festival for Children) program was held at Hue Central Hospital to support pediatric patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases.

Organized by Thanh Nien Newspaper in collaboration with the Youth Union of the People's Procuracy of Hue City and various local organizations, the event provided gifts to nearly 50 children. Each gift, valued at 500,000 VND, included cash, sweets, milk, and Mid-Autumn lanterns. Additionally, representatives visited 30 seriously ill children in their hospital beds to deliver smaller gift sets worth 250,000 VND each.

Participating groups included various youth unions from the Hai Quan Thuy An Customs branch, Hue textile companies, economic police, and local banks. The initiative raised over 32 million VND through contributions from sponsors and youth union members to bring festive joy to the young patients.
