Hue Monuments Complex offers free admission for Vietnamese citizens

Vietnamese citizens will receive free admission to historical and cultural sites within the Hue Monuments Complex on August 19 and September 2, 2026. This initiative commemorates the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam's National Day.

The policy aims to encourage domestic tourism and deepen public understanding of the World Heritage site's historical and cultural values. In addition to free entry, Hue will host various events as part of the Hue Festival 2026 Autumn Season. Scheduled activities include the Hue Nam Dien Festival (August 20–22), the Hue Wonderverse Fest (August 30–September 1), and a traditional boat racing competition on the Huong River on September 2.
