Hue recognized as a top global honeymoon destination

Hue has been recognized as one of the world’s top romantic honeymoon destinations for 2026. According to Tripadvisor’s Travelers' Choice Best of the Best Destinations awards, Hue ranked 6th globally. This prestigious recognition is awarded to less than 1% of the over 8 million destinations and service providers on the platform, based on excellent reviews from the travel community over a 12-month period.

In addition to its historical charm, traditional craft villages like Thuy Xuan Incense Village are enhancing the local tourism experience through digital integration. Located approximately 7km southwest of Hue city center, the village is famous for its colorful bundles of incense sticks that resemble flowers. Artisans in Thuy Xuan are increasingly utilizing digital spaces, including online maps, social media, and e-commerce platforms, to reach a wider audience. The village has evolved from a purely functional craft center into a tourist experience hub where visitors can observe traditional methods, purchase souvenirs, and rent traditional clothing for photography.
