Hue Wonderverse Music Fest 2026 launches in Vietnam
The Hue Wonderverse Music Fest 2026 has officially launched in Hue, Vietnam, marking the city's initiative to become a leading Asian music and experience destination. Held from August 30 to September 1, 2026, at the Hue City Sports Center Square, the festival is designed as a strategic intellectual property under the direction of the Hue City People's Committee.
The event, themed ‘City Awakening – Awakening Heritage’, aims to connect cultural heritage with contemporary music, technology, and the creative industry. The festival features the Long Ma as its official mascot, utilizing visual arts and performance technology to represent the spirit of Hue. The organizers intend for the festival to become an annual international event with a development strategy spanning 2026 to 2030, aimed at boosting night-time and creative economies.
The opening night featured a diverse lineup of performers, including V-Pop icon My Tam, alongside Gen Z artists HIEUTHUHAI, MONO, and Phuong My Chi. The performances integrated modern music with traditional cultural elements through advanced stage technologies such as visual mapping and interactive media.
