Huejotzingo hosts 7th edition of the Berry Fair 2026

The 7th edition of the Berry Fair 2026 has commenced in the San Diego Buenavista neighborhood of Huejotzingo. For the first time, the agricultural, tourist, and gastronomic event has expanded its format to span two consecutive weekends, running from August 20 to 23 and August 27 to 30.

Local authorities anticipate more than 42,000 visitors and an economic impact exceeding 9.7 million pesos, providing a direct boost to regional producers. The event features over 80 local exhibitors showcasing raspberries, blackberries, liqueurs, jams, and traditional dishes. Activities include guided orchard tours where tourists can harvest fruit, live music, and cultural presentations. To assist mobility, the Huejotzingo Municipal Government is providing free transportation from the town center to the event site.
