Huelva announces traffic closures for Fiestas de la Cinta

The city of Huelva has announced special traffic arrangements for the 2026 Fiestas de la Cinta in honor of the Virgen de la Cinta. To ensure pedestrian safety and facilitate religious and social activities, the Local Police will implement road closures around La Orden and the Sanctuary of the Patroness.

Starting September 2 at 8:00, Avenida Diego Morón will be closed between the Sanctuary roundabout and Calle Nicaragua, with traffic expected to resume on September 9. Additional restrictions will begin on September 4, affecting Calle Obispo Lahiguera, Calle San Bartolomé de la Torre, and Avenida Virgen de los Dolores del Perdón. A provisional taxi stand will be established near the Sanctuary roundabout to accommodate increased public transport demand.
