Huelva celebrates 25th Feria de la Tapa at Plaza de las Monjas

The 25th Feria de la Tapa in Huelva has commenced, returning to its original location at Plaza de las Monjas to celebrate its silver anniversary. The event honors Antonio Ponce and José Rivero, members of the Federación Onubense de Empresarios, for their roles in launching the gastronomic festival in 1997.

Twelve local establishments are participating in the event, offering various culinary options. To maintain accessibility, organizers have set unified pricing for tapas at 3 euros. Beverage prices include water and soft drinks at 1.50 euros, wine and energy drinks at 3 euros, alcoholic cocktails at 6 euros, and traditional rebujito at 9 euros. The festival features a competition for the best tapa and is scheduled to run through Sunday, October 4.
