Huelva City Council tenders solar plant for Carolina Marín Sports Palace
The Huelva City Council has launched a tender for the installation of a self-consumption photovoltaic plant at the Carolina Marín Sports Palace. The project aims to improve energy efficiency and incorporate renewable energy into one of the municipality's primary sports facilities.
The tender has a budget of 449,420 euros, with a deadline for interested companies to submit offers set for September 7. Once awarded, the successful company will have four months to complete the works. The planned installation will have a capacity of 438.75 kWp and is designed to supply energy directly to the building without producing surpluses.
In addition to the solar panels, the project includes the installation of two three-phase electric vehicle charging points, each equipped with two 22 kW sockets. Mariló Ponce, the Councilor for Infrastructure and Public Services, stated that this initiative is part of a broader municipal strategy to increase the efficiency of public buildings through renewable energy and new technologies.
