Huelva hosts National Badminton Master for U-15 and U-19 categories
Huelva is hosting the National N4 Badminton Master for the Under-15 and Under-19 categories at the Carolina Marín Sports Palace on October 31 and November 1. The tournament features 184 athletes from 52 teams representing various Spanish autonomous communities, including Andalusia, Madrid, Catalonia, Galicia, the Canary Islands, Murcia, Aragon, and Valencia.
The competition is a key event for the national ranking, as points earned influence qualification for the Spanish Championships. The tournament has been a regular fixture in Huelva since approximately 2007.
Local officials, including Sports Councilor María de la O Rubio, highlighted the event's importance for the local economy, tourism, and the promotion of high-level sports among youth. The Spanish and Andalusian Badminton Federations have already confirmed that Huelva will host the tournament again in 2027, and the city is scheduled to host the Under-17 Spanish Championship next year.
