Huelva hosts Sports Fair at Plaza 12 de Octubre

The Plaza 12 de Octubre in Huelva hosted the Sports Fair, an event bringing together 40 clubs, associations, companies, and sports entities. The initiative aims to showcase the variety of athletic disciplines available in the city and promote physical activity, particularly among younger residents.

During the event, students from 20 educational centers visited the fair to learn about different sports and connect with local clubs. The fair also facilitated interaction between grassroots sports and notable athletes, such as Álvaro Santos, the Spanish Under-10 rapid chess runner-up.

Huelva Mayor Pilar Miranda and Culture, Historical Heritage, and Sports Counselor Patricia del Pozo visited the exhibitors. Miranda emphasized the role of these entities in promoting year-round physical activity and supporting children and youth.
