Huelva promotes tourism in Vigo via Nao Santa María replica

The province of Huelva has utilized the historic replica of the Nao Santa María to present its tourism offerings in the port of Vigo. The initiative aims to attract visitors and strengthen Huelva's presence in a key market for tourists traveling to the Andalusian destination.

Emiliano Cabot, Deputy of Tourism and President of the Agencia Destino Huelva, led the presentation to travel agents, specialized press, and tourism sector representatives. During the event, Cabot highlighted the province's diverse attractions, ranging from the natural landscapes of Doñana and the red waters of the Tinto River to its coastal sunsets and cultural heritage.

The promotion also emphasized sustainability, golf, and the province's capacity for MICE tourism (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions), noting that Huelva offers nearly 15,000 spaces for professional events. The Nao Santa María, which is visiting Vigo for the first time as part of its 2026 European tour, will remain open to the public until Sunday, October 25.
