Train services between Huelva and Sevilla were suspended on Saturday due to a grass fire near the railway infrastructure. The fire was reported around 2:15 PM at kilometer 56 of the tracks near Paterna del Campo, between the municipalities of La Palma del Condado and Escacena.

Emergency response teams, including firefighters from the Huelva Provincial Council, the Civil Guard, and the Forest Fire Extinction Service (Infoca), were deployed to manage the emergency. Renfe confirmed that Long Distance and Medium Distance trains were affected by the incident. To ensure passenger mobility, Adif implemented an alternative road transport plan. Service was reportedly restored around 6:00 PM.
