Huelva Tapas Fair celebrates 25th anniversary in original location

The Huelva Tapas Fair (Feria de la Tapa de Huelva) will celebrate its 25th anniversary from October 1 to 4. To commemorate this milestone, the event will return to its original location at the Plaza de las Monjas, where the gastronomic gathering first began in 1997.

Organized by the Huelva City Council and the Association of Bars and Restaurants of Huelva (Bareca), the fair is recognized as the oldest tapas festival in Andalusia. Mayor Pilar Miranda highlighted the event as a reflection of the province's culinary quality and the talent of local chefs and entrepreneurs, noting that the tradition serves as a vital cultural element for social interaction and community identity.
