Huesca educators hold human chain to protest inspection model

Educational unions in Huesca, including CSIF, CGT, CCOO, HUSTE-STEA, UGT, and ANPE, organized a symbolic human chain around the IES Ramón y Cajal institute to show solidarity with its teaching staff.

The demonstration serves as a protest against the current state of educational centers in the province. Unions are demanding a reform of the Educational Inspection model, calling for a shift from a system of pressure and sanctions to one based on real advisory and accompaniment.

Additionally, protesters are seeking the elimination of so-called ‘minimum criteria’ in all educational stages in Huesca, arguing that these requirements impose excessive bureaucracy and limit the pedagogical autonomy of teachers and schools.
