Huesca hosts exhibition celebrating local cultural history

The exhibition ‘Huesca in Transit’ is currently being held at the Exhibition Hall of the Diputación de Huesca. The showcase commemorates the cultural impact of the Tránsito bar, which operated in Huesca for six years starting in 1984.

During its operation, the bar served as a vital meeting point for musicians and artists, fostering new sounds and forms of expression. The exhibition, curated by Alberto Gabarre, José Ignacio Callén, and Jesús Bosque, features posters, photographs, records, publications, and other period objects.

The collection explores the era between the mid-1970s and mid-1980s, a time characterized by the rise of pop and rock music and the growth of social movements, including ecological, pacifist, feminist, and anti-nuclear groups.
