Hugh Jackman: All three of my latest films end with my death

Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman said that the three movies he filmed in the past six months all feature his character’s death. “I have filmed three movies in the last six months that have all gone to theatres and in all three I die,” he told Indie Wire.

The most recent of the trio, the revisionist action drama “The Death of Robin Hood,” is scheduled to open in cinemas on 19 June. Jackman also discussed the physically demanding shoot in Northern Ireland, where a mud‑filled battle scene required him to lie down mid‑fight to recover. He reflected on earlier successes such as “The Greatest Showman” and “Logan,” noting that while his recent roles are grim, they allow him to explore different facets of performance.
