Hugh Jackman offers rent-free stay in Manhattan apartment

Actor Hugh Jackman is participating in a new entertainment initiative with Bilt founder Ankur Jain through the ‘Rent Free’ game show. As part of the promotion, Jackman is offering a fan the opportunity to stay in his Manhattan apartment for one month without paying rent. The winner of the promotion will also receive an all-expenses-paid trip to New York City for the Global Citizen Festival.

This initiative coincides with Jackman’s ongoing efforts to sell his expansive three-storey New York City residence. The property, which features five bedrooms, was originally purchased by Jackman and his former wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, in 2008 for approximately $21 million to $33 million. The residence has been listed on the luxury real estate market multiple times, with previous asking prices reaching as high as $54.2 million in 2022.
