Hugh Jackman remains coy about Wolverine return in Avengers: Secret Wars

Hugh Jackman has maintained his characteristic ambiguity regarding a potential return as Wolverine in the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars. During a recent interview with Variety, the actor used humor to deflect questions about his involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Jackman jokingly claimed he possessed a literal “internal chip” that would shut him down if he revealed any unauthorized information, a cheeky reference to the strict non-disclosure protocols maintained by major studios like Disney. While he has previously denied appearing in Avengers: Doomsday, he has not issued a definitive refusal regarding Secret Wars.

Speculation regarding his return continues to circulate due to the success of Deadpool & Wolverine and comments from Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, which suggested that Jackman and Ryan Reynolds could return to future studio projects.
