Hugh Jackman stars in dark Robin Hood reimagining

The film ‘The Death of Robin Hood’, directed by Michael Sarnoski and starring Hugh Jackman, is now available digitally on platforms such as Amazon Prime Video. Unlike traditional portrayals of the legendary outlaw, this version offers a dark and introspective deconstruction of the character.

Jackman portrays an aging, broken man grappling with the violent aftermath of a life of crime. The film focuses on the psychological weight of his past rather than a lighthearted adventure. While the gritty, bloody depiction has received mixed reactions from audiences, critics have largely responded positively, with a 68 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

On Amazon, the digital version is currently available for purchase, with rental options expected to follow in late September.
