Hugo Deleon releases book on entrepreneurship and resilience
Brazilian entrepreneur Hugo Deleon has released a new book titled ‘Da dor ao dólar: transforme dor em propósito. Propósito em liberdade’, published by Literare Books International. The work chronicles Deleon’s journey from his childhood in Palmeirópolis, Tocantins, to establishing a business career in the United States.
A central theme of the book is Deleon’s 2021 diagnosis of Ph-like acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a rare and aggressive subtype of cancer. The narrative details his medical battle, which included chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and a bone marrow transplant, and how this life-threatening experience reshaped his perspectives on success, wealth, and time.
The book is divided into nine chapters, blending personal memoir with professional insights on leadership, financial planning, and personal development. Deleon, who founded Brazuca Multi Services and is a co-founder of PPA Brazuca, uses his experiences to advocate for principles such as faith, discipline, goal setting, and resilience.
