Hugo Dellien and Juan Carlos Prado to represent Bolivia at US Open

Bolivian tennis players Hugo Dellien and Juan Carlos Prado are set to compete in the US Open qualifying rounds. The tournament, the final Grand Slam of the year, will begin its qualifying stage on August 24 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Hugo Dellien will be making his eighth appearance at the event. His best previous performance occurred in 2019, when he reached the second round of the main draw before losing to Daniil Medvedev. Juan Carlos Prado will be making his professional debut at the tournament, having previously competed in the event at the junior level in 2023.

A total of 128 players will participate in the qualifying rounds, competing to secure one of the 16 available spots in the main draw.
