Hugo García defends Formosa Governor Gildo Insfrán

Hugo García, a provincial deputy for the Justicialist Party (PJ), has defended Formosa Governor Gildo Insfrán against what he describes as systematic media operations by journalists in Buenos Aires. García argues that criticisms directed at Insfrán are not merely local concerns but are politically motivated attempts to weaken a central figure of national Peronism.

García contends that these media attacks aim to undermine the leadership necessary to build a political alternative for the 2027 presidential elections. He characterizes the criticism as being based on prejudice and ignorance, asserting that such actions insult the people of Formosa. He notes that while the phrase ‘Once again Gildo’ is used by critics to attack the governor, locally it is used to signify positive developments, such as recent housing assistance provided to families in Laguna Blanca.
