Hugo González shines in NBA preseason with Boston Celtics

Spanish player Hugo González has delivered standout performances during the NBA preseason. In a recent matchup where the Boston Celtics defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 144-106, González scored 17 points in just 21 minutes. His efficiency was notable, recording 6/7 from the field, 4/4 from three-point range, six rebounds, and two assists.

González’s recent form follows a 15-point performance against the Cleveland Cavaliers. His ability to impact the game is reflected in his plus/minus rating, with the Celtics outscoring opponents by 19 points while he was on the court. These performances suggest a strengthening position within the Celtics' rotation under coach Joe Mazzulla.

In addition to González, the preseason has seen significant activity from other Spanish talents, including De Larrea, as players continue to adapt to the intensity and tactical demands of the NBA.
