Hugo Larsson transfer triggers 22 million euro fee for Eintracht Frankfurt

Hugo Larsson’s debut for Fulham FC has triggered a significant financial windfall for Eintracht Frankfurt. Due to a specific clause in his loan agreement, Larsson’s first official appearance in a match against Crystal Palace converted his temporary move into a permanent transfer.

Eintracht Frankfurt is set to receive approximately 22 million euros from the deal. The Swedish midfielder, who joined Frankfurt from Malmö FF in 2023, made 119 appearances for the German club. This transaction, alongside the sale of Jean-Mattéo Bahoyi to Leeds United, is expected to significantly bolster Frankfurt’s budget.

In separate football news, the second round of the DFB-Pokal has been drawn, pairing Eintracht Frankfurt against Hamburger SV.
