Hugo Margaillan wins RallyRACC Catalunya; Škoda claims fourth S-CER title
Hugo Margaillan and Bastien Dumas secured victory at the 61st RallyRACC Catalunya – Costa Daurada, driving a Hyundai i20N Rally2. The French duo won the race by a narrow margin of 2.7 seconds over José Antonio Suárez and Alberto Iglesias in a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2.
Iván Ares and Borja Rozada finished in third place driving a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2. Their position on the podium followed a series of mechanical issues for other competitors, including a wheel valve problem for Sergi Pérez and Axel Coronado that cost them over three minutes.
Despite Margaillan's individual win, Škoda claimed its fourth consecutive manufacturer title in the Spanish Rally Super Championship (S-CER). José Antonio Suárez, who had already secured the individual driver title earlier in the season, finished as the top representative for the S-CER championship standings.
