Hugo Sigal reflects on life after passing of Margriet Hermans

Singer and actor Hugo Sigal has expressed a renewed sense of vitality following a difficult period. In a recent appearance on HLN Showbits, the 78-year-old reflected on the sudden passing of singer Margriet Hermans, which served as a reminder of how abruptly life can end.

Sigal also discussed the long-term impact of the unexpected death of his wife, Nicole Josy, approximately 3.5 years ago. He has since rebuilt his life, including moving to an apartment in central Antwerp to be closer to the community.

Despite his new beginnings, Sigal maintains certain habits from his life with Nicole, such as greeting his home with the phrase, "Hi sjoeke, ik ben thuis." He remains focused on his future plans and continues to embrace his health and upcoming 80th birthday with enthusiasm.
