Hugues Aufray targeted in attempted burglary at his home

French singer Hugues Aufray, 97, was the victim of an attempted burglary at his home in Marly-le-Roi, Yvelines, on Wednesday morning.

Two individuals entered the residence through an open window and confronted the singer on the ground floor, demanding that he hand over all valuables in the house. The intruders fled the scene after the singer's stepmother triggered the home alarm.

No injuries were reported, and no property was stolen or damaged during the incident. The Versailles prosecutor's office has been notified of the event.
