Huis Ten Bosch to debut reimagined star-themed illumination

Huis Ten Bosch, a theme park resort in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan, has announced a major renewal of its award-winning illumination display. The new immersive experience, titled ‘The Starlight Million’, is scheduled to launch on November 6, 2026, marking the first significant update to the park's lighting displays in 16 years.

The new theme focuses on a star-filled sky integrated with the resort’s European-style townscape. Key features include over 100 star objects in Amsterdam City that react to touch, a 500-meter illuminated canal path, and updated displays such as the ‘Light Waterfall’ and ‘Light Aurora Garden’.

Running concurrently from November 6 to December 25, 2026, the resort will also host ‘European Holy Christmas’, its largest-ever European-themed Christmas celebration. This event will feature massive wall decorations and the ‘Grand Chandelier Tree’, a unique crystal-adorned Christmas tree containing approximately 9,000 crystals.
