Huis Ten Bosch to launch renewed ‘The Starlight Million’ illumination

Huis Ten Bosch, a theme park resort in Nagasaki Prefecture, is launching a major renewal of its illumination display titled ‘The Starlight Million’. Running from November 6, 2026, to February 25, 2027, the event marks the first significant update to the park’s lighting displays in 16 years.

The new theme aims to create an experience of walking through a twinkling starry sky, blending European streetscapes with celestial motifs. Key features include over 100 star objects in Amsterdam City that visitors can touch, a large moon object, and light displays utilizing smoke and water. The 500-meter canal area and surrounding trees will also be illuminated to simulate falling stars.

Additionally, the park will host its largest-scale Christmas event, ‘European Holy Christmas’, from November 6 to December 25. This includes the ‘Grand Chandelier Tree’, which features approximately 9,000 crystals, and updated displays at the ‘Light Waterfall’ and ‘Aurora Garden’.
