Huitzilan de Serdán and Yautepec launch 2026 Feria Patronal celebrations

The municipality of Huitzilan de Serdán is set to host its Feria Patronal 2026 from 9 to 15 August, honoring the Virgen de la Asunción. The week‑long event will feature cultural performances, sports tournaments and a musical lineup that includes local bands such as Silver Mariano and K‑Paz de la Sierra, aiming to draw thousands of visitors, promote regional gastronomy and boost the local economy.

In the eastern part of the state, Yautepec will open its Fiesta de la Asunción 2026 on 12 August at the historic Atrio of the Parroquia de la Asunción de María. The program, free to the public, will showcase artistic and cultural activities designed to support local talent and preserve community traditions, reinforcing social cohesion in the municipality.
