Huitzilan de Serdán Patronal Fair Highlights Local Culture
The town of Huitzilan de Serdán in Puebla will hold its traditional patronal fair, Feria Huitzilan de Serdán 2026, from August 9 to August 10 (with additional activities through August 15). The celebration honors the Virgen de la Asunción and is promoted as one of the largest fairs in the region.
Organizers, including municipal mayor Prof. Josué Elías Velázquez Bonilla and Antorcha movement leader Adalid Córdova Muñiz, say the event will draw thousands of visitors to enjoy local gastronomy, cultural performances, sports and other community activities. They emphasize the fair as a showcase of the town’s social tranquility, ongoing infrastructure improvements and the collective effort toward sustained development, describing it as a space of unity among neighboring communities.
