Huixquilcan municipality delivers nearly 38,000 health services in Q2 2026

Huixquilcan municipal health network 38,000 services preventive campaigns medical certificates

The municipal government of Huixquilcan reported that its public‑hospital network provided almost 38,000 medical and preventive services during the second quarter of 2026. The deliveries were made through the hospitals San Pío, Mater Dei, San Fernando, the Huixquilcan Medical Center, the San Cristóbal Texcalucan Medical Unit and 27 Community‑Development Centers.

The services included more than 22,000 general‑medicine consultations, 1,549 specialty consultations, 5,262 dental consultations, 5,698 dental treatments, 338 nutrition consultations, 226 optometry consultations, 2,149 medical certificates and seven births (including cesarean sections). Preventive actions such as vaccination campaigns, cancer‑screening workshops, family‑planning information and risk‑factor screenings for diabetes, hypertension, overweight and obesity were also carried out.
