Huixquilucan Council Praised for Open‑Door Governance and Night‑time Security Ops
During the "Huixquilucan Contigo 24/7" program visit to the Lomas de la Herradura and Jardines de la Herradura neighborhoods, residents commended the municipal government for its open‑door approach and coordinated response to community needs. Mayor Romina Contreras Carrasco and department heads met directly with citizens, addressing more than 40 petitions that included installation of street lighting, road signage, pedestrian crosswalks, speed bumps, tree pruning, green‑area maintenance and the reinforcement of night‑time security patrols.
Neighborhood leader María Esther Rey Carrillo thanked the administration, noting the prompt assistance from public services, sanitation, security, public works and water agencies, and emphasizing the ongoing communication between residents and the municipality.
