Huixquilucan renovates Graciela Amador Kindergarten

The government of Huixquilucan has completed infrastructure improvements at the Graciela Amador Kindergarten in the La Cañada community. The upgrades were conducted under the ‘Acción por la Educación’ program, which aims to provide safe and dignified spaces for children's development.

Maintenance work included the installation of a new children's playground, the rehabilitation of sanitary modules, the replacement of water-saving faucets, and the installation of rainwater drainage systems. Additionally, crews applied new paint, installed lighting, and updated electrical systems.

Mayor Romina Contreras Carrasco stated that the second stage of the initiative focuses on the continuous maintenance, renovation, and modernization of 135 public schools throughout the municipality. The program seeks to address requests from parents and teachers to ensure that facilities from preschool to upper secondary levels are clean, safe, and in optimal condition for academic development.
