Hull City hosts Everton in Premier League clash at MKM Stadium

Hull City and Everton are set to face each other at a sold-out MKM Stadium this Sunday in a Premier League fixture. Both teams have enjoyed strong starts to the season, occupying high positions in the league table.

Newly promoted Hull City currently sits in eighth place with eight points from five matches. Despite their success, including wins against Manchester United and draws against Chelsea and Aston Villa, the team has struggled with offensive efficiency, recording the fourth-lowest expected goals (xG) in the league. They typically employ a compact 5-4-1 formation with low possession averages.

Everton, managed by David Moyes, remains unbeaten in five league games and is currently joint-fourth in the standings. The team has established itself as the league's most effective defense, having conceded only three goals so far. While their defensive record is statistically impressive, analysts note that their expected goals against (xGA) suggests they may have been fortunate to avoid conceding more frequently.
