Hull City prepares to host Brentford at MKM Stadium

Hull City is set to host Brentford at the MKM Stadium in their first top-flight meeting between the two clubs. Hull City currently sits in ninth place with nine points, trailing Brentford by one point in the league standings.

Despite a recent difficult run where the team has failed to win in five matches and earned only one point from their last three outings, Hull City maintains an unbeaten home record this season, consisting of one win and two draws. The team has also recorded clean sheets in two of those three home matches.

Manager Sergej Jakirovic faces significant squad challenges, with seven players currently unavailable due to injuries involving the elbow, ankle, groin, knee, and back. However, Mohamed Ali-Cho and Lucas Gourna-Douath have reportedly returned to training.
