Hull City remains undefeated in opening Premier League matches

Hull City has maintained an undefeated start to their Premier League campaign, securing eight points from their first four matches. The team, owned by Turkish businessman Acun Ilıcalı, recently played to a draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. During that match, Belloumi scored two goals to keep the side competitive against one of the league’s top clubs.

Club President Acun Ilıcalı expressed immense satisfaction with the team’s performance, noting that the eight points exceeded initial expectations given the difficulty of facing opponents like Chelsea and Manchester United. Ilıcalı credited the success to the energy of the returning players and praised manager Sergej Jakirovic, describing him as a ‘perfect person’ and a ‘blessing’ for the club.

Despite preseason predictions suggesting the club might face relegation, the team’s disciplined play under Jakirovic has earned international media attention from outlets such as ESPN and The Guardian.
