Hull City secures transfers for goalkeeper Dönmezer and defender Mendy

Hull City is actively strengthening its squad ahead of the new season with two significant player acquisitions.

The club has reached a principle agreement with Kayserispor to sign 17-year-old goalkeeper Deniz Eren Dönmezer. The transfer is expected to involve a fee of 1 million euros. Dönmezer, who has 27 professional appearances across Adana Demirspor and Kayserispor, will undergo medical examinations and visa processing before finalizing the move to England.

Additionally, Hull City has signed 21-year-old Senegalese defender Nobel Mendy on a five-year contract. Mendy joins from the Spanish side Rayo Vallecano, where he played on loan and contributed to their UEFA Conference League campaign. Mendy expressed his readiness for the challenge, stating, ‘I have wanted to play in the Premier League since I was a child.’
