Hull City signs Lucas Herrington and Lucas Gourna-Douath

Hull City has completed two significant signings as they prepare for Premier League competition.

Australian center-back Lucas Herrington has joined the club following a stint with the Colorado Rapids in MLS. Born in 2007, Herrington is noted for his athleticism, aerial strength, and ball-playing ability. He previously made history as the youngest Australian to start a World Cup match.

Additionally, the club has secured midfielder Lucas Gourna-Douath from RB Salzburg. The 23-year-old joins on a contract running until 2031 for a guaranteed fee of £2.9 million, plus potential bonuses. The deal includes a 10% sell-on clause for Salzburg. Gourna-Douath brings experience from Champions League, Serie A, and Ligue 1 to the English side.
