Hull City targets 33 million euro transfers amid EFL Cup success
Hull City, led by coach Sergej Jakirović, is preparing for significant squad reinforcements following a successful start to the season, including a 2-0 victory over Manchester United. Club owner Acun Ilicalis is reportedly prepared to invest approximately 33 million euros to secure two new players.
The primary targets are Mohamed-Ali Cho, a 22-year-old attacker from Nice valued at 15 million euros, and Ilyas Ansah, a 21-year-old striker from Union Berlin. The total potential expenditure for both players is estimated at around 32.5 million euros.
In recent competitive action, Jakirović utilized a rotated squad in the EFL Cup against Stoke City. After a 1-1 draw in regulation time, Hull City advanced following a 5-4 penalty shootout victory.
