Hull FC and Wakefield Trinity face injury‑laden Super League showdown

Hull FC host Wakefield Trinity on Friday night at the MKM Stadium, aiming for back‑to‑back home wins. Hull sit ninth in the Super League, eight points off the playoff places, while Wakefield sit fifth with a chance to strengthen their top‑six position.

Both sides enter the match with extensive injury problems. Hull have 12 players ruled out and nine doubtful, including Will Pryce (ACL), John Asiata (hamstring), Sam Lisone (bicep) and others, while Yusuf Aydin and Roman Dawson miss the game through suspension. Wakefield are missing Oliver Pratt, Corey Hall and Mason Lino, and have several backs in doubt, though Jazz Tevaga returns after a suspension. Head coach Daryl Powell said, “Everywhere they all played well and just when things are going well they bring Bevan French off the bench.”
