Hull FC investigates MKM Stadium technical failures
Hull FC has launched a full investigation into technical failures at the MKM Stadium following their 18-14 defeat to the Castleford Tigers. During the Betfred Super League match, the stadium’s two large screens became unusable, and the match clock and shot clock were also unavailable.
Without an official clock, players and supporters had to rely on the referee’s whistle to track time. The club stated that these issues were “beyond the control of the club” and issued an apology to fans for the inconvenience. Hull FC plans to work with the stadium’s operations team to identify the cause and prevent a recurrence before their upcoming fixtures.
