Hultsfred Gymnasium sees rise in student enrollment

Hultsfred Gymnasium has reported a significant increase in student enrollment, with 178 students starting their first year. This represents an increase of 30 students compared to the previous academic year.

The proportion of local ninth-grade students choosing Hultsfred Gymnasium has risen from 68 percent to 78.7 percent. Officials attribute this growth to several strategic initiatives, including a new sports profile and a driver's license scholarship program.

Johan Svensson noted that these investments can lead to economic benefits by reducing the costs associated with sending students to other municipalities. The full economic impact of the increased enrollment will be determined after the final admission period concludes in mid-September.
