Hulu has canceled the Mindy Kaling-created comedy series ‘Not Suitable for Work’ after its first season. The series, which premiered in June and consisted of nine episodes, follows five young professionals navigating their careers and personal lives in Manhattan’s Murray Hill neighborhood.

Despite the cancellation, the show’s production studio, Warner Bros. Television, reportedly intends to shop the series to other streaming platforms or networks in an attempt to find a new home for the production. The first season concluded on a cliffhanger, leaving several character storylines and romantic entanglements unresolved.
