Hulu docuseries explores the 2017 Sydney Loofe murder case

The Hulu docuseries ‘Swipe Right on the Devil’ examines the 2017 homicide of 24-year-old Sydney Irene Loofe in Lincoln, Nebraska. The investigation into Loofe’s disappearance began after she matched with Bailey Marie Boswell on Tinder.

Authorities eventually focused on Boswell and her boyfriend, Aubrey Clifton Trail. The series features interviews with Loofe’s family, investigators, and individuals who were part of Trail and Boswell’s social circle at the time of the disappearance. It also explores Trail’s claims regarding a coven of witches and his background, including his history of incarceration.

While Boswell is serving a life sentence for the killing, Trail is currently on Nebraska’s death row. The production involved extensive access to Trail, though Boswell declined to appear on camera.
