Chad Powers season 2 premieres on Disney+ and Hulu

The second season of the sports comedy series ‘Chad Powers’ premiered on September 3, 2026. Starring Glen Powell, the show follows Russ Holliday, a disgraced former college football quarterback who uses prosthetics and a disguise to re-enter the sport as the character ‘Chad Powers’ for the South Georgia Catfish.

Unlike the first season, which released episodes weekly, the second season features a binge-release model with all six new episodes available simultaneously. In the United States, the series is available for streaming on Hulu and Disney+, while international viewers can access it via Disney+.

The new season explores the increasing difficulty of maintaining the deception. While the character Danny is aware of the truth, assistant coach Ricky has also discovered Russ’s real identity, placing his future with the team in jeopardy. The series was developed by Glen Powell and Michael Waldron, based on the ‘Eli’s Places’ format, with involvement from former NFL players Eli and Peyton Manning.
