Hulu’s thriller series ‘Furious’ has experienced a significant viewership surge, transitioning from a low-profile release to a mainstream success driven by social media engagement. Created by Elizabeth Meriwether and starring Emmy Rossum as an ex-cop turned FBI agent, the show follows a hunt for a female serial killer played by Lola Petticrew.

Despite minimal initial marketing, the series gained momentum on platforms such as TikTok, Threads, and X. Hulu reported that viewership for the penultimate episode rose 40% compared to the premiere, with views increasing by 90% by the time the finale aired on August 31. Following this growth, Hulu granted the series a second-season renewal in late August.
