Actress Huma Qureshi appeared on the YouTube show “Be A Man, Yaar!” hosted by Nikhil Taneja and defended co‑star Kiara Advani against online trolling over the intimate scenes in the song “Tabaahi” from the upcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown‑Ups, slated for release on 26 August 2026. She described the criticism as “sick” and “disgusting,” highlighted a double‑standard that targets female actors more harshly than their male counterparts, and said that the women involved in the film will have the last laugh. Qureshi added that the film itself will answer its critics, noting that “there’s no point in trying to defend something with words; the film will speak for itself.” The controversy also involved remarks about Advani’s husband, Sidharth Malhotra, and the film’s ensemble cast, which includes Yash, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria and others.
